      I needed a insect screen for my 3 inch PVC furnace vent pipe. This fit perfectly. I'm not sure why this isn't intended for PVC pipes because this is exactly what I needed.

      I recently had a tankless water heater installed.. it was vented out of the side of my house. There was a three inch open pipe just sticking out for anything to crawl into and possibly nest. I stumbled upon this screen insert and decided to see if it would work. It is a perfect fit! It also gives a more finished look!
