Perfect Fit
Found this item while searching online for a cover to fit over he outdoor exhaust pipe for my tankless hot water heater because lizards have gotten into the fan motor and caused damage that was expensive to repair. I thought I would have to find a way to bend the aluminum tabs inward to get it to stay on the existing vent pipe, but I was pleasantly surprised that it fit perfectly over the vent pipe and locked in securely without any effort. Took me 2 minutes to complete the job. Easiest thing I've done in a long time.
