      Great replacement for 1960s era Soffit

      This is a great product. I had to expand my holes a bit, easy to do with new 2" hole saw. Used caulk to seal in place. Presto! Looks great and now I have airflow into my roof again. The previous ones were painted shut!!

      2" Soffet Plugs

      The soffit plugs I ordered were white which matches my trim. Some of the holes were too big and the plugs fell out a few were a tight fit. I drilled a 1/16" hole on both sides and nailed them in with white panel nails. It was more work than I anticipated but I don't have a problem with birds pecking out the mesh screen now. All in all it is a good product!

      Product was shipped and received fast. Consistent product quality and when compared the large building supply stores very comparable and better priced. I had a friend buy from Lowes and he paid twice as much and his product didn't have the insect screen nor paint. The only reason for not being rated 5 stars is that some of the paint is scuffed from the other covers in the same package, so the painted surfaces were all not perfect.
