      Fit very snug into the holes that I drilled into each of the lower headers between each of the trusses.

      These vents are an almost perfect fit to our eave vent openings. I used tin-snips to make one cut in the backside insert to reduce the diameter and allow it to fit. Very snug...looks, works great. I ordered these in an effort to stop birds nesting in our attic. Woodpeckers tore out the original vent screen and smaller birds take up residence.
