      Fire ember protection

      I just finished tapping in 152 of these into the previously poorly screened soffit vents under my eaves. They were easy to work with and a great solution to my problem -- in fire country, flying embers can get drawn into attics and start fires. I did have to build a simple jig block to tap them all in without mashing the louvers. I was able to do this with some hardwood plywood, a hole saw, and a big spade bit.

      I have not installed it yet. I will use it on a Bluebird nesting box for ventilation. Looks as described.
