Exactly what I needed
A louver had fallen out of its hole in our 65 year-old porch roof. I searched all the big-box stores in the Washington DC area -- and many neighborhood hardware stores too -- for a replacement, and nobody had any idea what I was talking about. I found Maurice Franklin online, and they directed me to ventmyhouse.com. I bought a bag of these and snapped one right in. It fit perfectly. I was initially annoyed that I had to buy a bag of six, but the three that remained had yellowed so much I ended up replacing them anyway. ventmyhouse.com has any easy-to-use website. simple, effective, inexpensive
I have an unheated porch that is always too humid. the soffit is narrow and the shed roof does not support a roof/ridge vent of any kind. Today we installed the 1" polypro vents - two between each rafter. the vents were easy to install, snapped in snugly, and blended in with the white trim on the soffit. Best of all, within a couple of hours, the humidity normalized with the outside air. the vents were delivered promptly, and the product was as advertised - good quality polypro properly sized.
